SmartePower Connect (Pty) Ltd trading as SmartePower started its operation in June 2012 as an installer of prepaid sub-meters. The operation involves buying, selling and installations of prepaid sub-meters for households and industrial meters of electricity as well as revenue collection.

SmartePower operates mostly in township areas where the need for sub-metering is highly in demand, as well as other electrical services.

SmartePower works with qualified electricians on most of the installations of sub-meters and advices on most electrical projects where the needs arises.

Our clients includes Landlords, Body Corporate, Estate Agents, Property Managers and Shopping Complexes.

Smartepower collects sub- meter(s) revenue of every meter on the system through channel partners every day and reconcile it so that it is paid back to the landlord to settle his/her municipal bill for the month. Collected monthly revenue is paid back to the landlord(s) from the 1^st – 7^th of each and every month.

Clients must provide proper active banking details where their monthly remittances is going to be paid back.

We empower electrical and hardware distributors in the townships to run their small meter installation business by giving them access to the system and train them on client services.

Distributors buy meters from us at wholesale prices and sell them to their clients. They are also responsible for helping us to register the proper details of the client(s) on the vending system.

We help our distributors with marketing materials and partners with them on project that needs our expertise so that we provide a required service to a client(s).
